Dede Korkut Monument
ESKISEHIR
Since Eskişehir is the cultural capital city of the Turkish World, a Dede Korkut Monument Wall was built inside the Nature Park in Odunpazar. Uzbek miniature artists designed the illustrations for 12 Dede Korkut stories to be featured on the wall and we completed transferring them onto Iznik tiles in 3 months, creating the world’s largest miniature Iznik tile panel. With 20 meters in width and 2 meters long, 2 Iznik tile panels featuring different stories have Dede Korkut stories under them. In addition, the well with three fountains located next to the monument also features Iznik tile panels that we produced.
