Al-Masjid an-Nabawi Restoration, Medina (Mescid-i Nebevi)
As part of the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi restoration project, Iznik Mavi Cini reproduced the Iznik tiles used in this sacred structure located in Medina and provided technical contribution to the restoration process. During the works carried out between 2019 and 2020, classical kalem işi applications were implemented together with the underglaze decoration technique. The project represents a comprehensive restoration process focused on preserving traditional tile production knowledge within one of the most significant structures of Islamic architecture.
