Em Sherif Sea Café Bahrain Iznik Tile Project

Em Sherif Sea Café Bahrain Iznik Tile Project

Em Sherif Sea Café Bahrain is a Lebanese-Mediterranean seafood restaurant located in The Avenues Bahrain, Manama. The custom-made Iznik tiles used in the restaurant’s interior were specially produced by Iznik Mavi Cini for the project.

The Em Sherif Sea Café Bahrain project brings together Em Sherif’s seafood-focused restaurant concept with Lebanese cuisine, Mediterranean coastal culture, and a refined waterfront atmosphere. The Iznik tiles prepared for this interior language consist of blue-and-white sea-themed compositions.

The tile surfaces used in the project were approached as permanent architectural elements that strengthen the restaurant’s Mediterranean and waterfront identity. The blue-and-white color balance, sea-themed motifs, and handmade production character add artistic depth to the overall atmosphere of the space.

This project is a special application where traditional Iznik tile craftsmanship meets contemporary luxury restaurant architecture. The tile surfaces support not only the decorative needs of the space, but also its identity and atmospheric design.

“In this application, the blue-and-white sea theme was treated as the main visual language supporting the restaurant’s coastal atmosphere.”
