Blue&White Iznik Ceramic Art

The Blue & White Iznik Ceramic Art collection consists of Iznik plates, vases, bowls, tiles and panels dominated by cobalt blue and white. The blue-and-white palette goes back to the first period of Iznik ceramics in the late 15th century and the first half of the 16th century, when Iznik was influenced by Chinese porcelain; styles such as Baba Nakkaş and Haliç (Golden Horn) developed in this period.

The original designs in the collection are by Serap Ereyli, İznik Mavi Çini's designer; the replicas are made faithfully after their originals in museums. All pieces are handmade at the workshop in Iznik.
