Teğel, presented jointly by Galerist and Galeri Nev as part of Ceramic Brussels 2026, brings together works by Mehtap Baydu, Hera Büyüktaşcıyan, Alev Ebüzziya, Nermin Kura, Lara Ögel, and Elif Uras. The exhibition reveals the practices of women artists from different generations who produce in distinct forms and languages, yet meet through an intuitive sense of connection. Rather than imposing a shared theme, the exhibition focuses on a quiet harmony that emerges through material, touch, and instinct, shaped around the relationship between memory, belonging, and the body’s engagement with clay.
Within the scope of this selection, the casting, decoration applications, and firing processes of Elif Uras’s sculptures Wheels of Labour, Moon Goddess with Rose Lips, and Talismanic Mother were carried out at our atelier.
